Last Saturday we travelled en masse to Knightstown on Valentia Island to take part in the Valentia County Championships in glorious sunshine. Again we had a fantastic turnout with crews competing in the vast majority of races. Another hugely successful event with crews winning medals at various categories. A special mention must go to our U14’s boys crew of Adam Murphy, Luke Hurley, Noah Slattery and Tim Madden who won gold in the highly competitive U14 race. It was truly wonderful to see so many of our younger crews competing and to see this crew win was fantastic. Well done lads. Also a huge congrats to our Senior men and our Prevet ladies on winning gold in their respective categories. A sincere thank you to everyone who took and sent on photos of this wonderful day and all who came out to support the club. Another fantastic turnout!
We would also like to wish our very own Tim Madden a very happy birthday! Fresh off their U14 win a fab birthday cake was produced and went down very well with everyone.
