On Saturday last, everyone at fossa Rowing Club was truly saddened to hear the very sad new of John O'Leary's sad passing.
John, of Caher Aghadoe, was a former oarsman, trainer, mentor, president and a true stalwart member of Fossa Rowing Club.
He was part of the judging panel, manning the finish line at Kilalrney Regatta until recent years when he was well into his nineties and is President of Kilalrney Regatta Committee.
Our Club is 133 years old and John has been an integral part of our club for about 80 years.

Last year the club named one of our boats after John's late wife Nell.
Our thoughts and prayers are with John's family, sons Jack and Billy, daughters Sally, Eileen and Noirin, extended families and many friends and neighbours.
