- How long have you been rowing?
I have been rowing for the last 8 years at this stage
- What’s your lifestyle?
Eat, Sleep, Rave and repeat... Just messing with you. I’m an apprentice so I’d get home from work and drop my brothers to rowing and then go for a row on the rowing machines myself
- What’s your favourite boat?
hhmmm... thats a tough choice, for me I’m very much between the killarney 6’s boat and the coastal one-design boat
- What are you excited about for rowing this year/what are your goals?
My goal is to take part in more regattas and hopefully collect a bit of silverware
- What’s your favourite thing about rowing?
Being able to go to regattas and being able to meet and talk to new people
- Favourite rowing memory?
Being able to row the darkness into light last year probably has to be one of my favourite memories, or being up in Glenarm for the All Ireland’s last year cheering on my younger brother Adam in the U14’s
- Favourite short rowing story?
About 7 or so years ago we had a regatta in Waterville and at the time we hadn’t enough people for the boat so we had to get another rower from another team. I remember before the turn we were out of sync but once we made the turn we were flying and came 3rd overall
- Fun fact about you?
I was dared by a friend to start rowing and I’m still at it and helping out 8 years later!
- Greatest rowing achievement?
Getting my younger brothers Adam and Donncha into rowing
