How long have you been rowing?
I rowed for a year when I was twelve. Then retired. My daughter’s started rowing in august 2024. I was down one evening and saw they had a mammies crew. So went out for a laugh. Twas like cycling a bike. It came back straight away.... Kinda.

What’s your lifestyle?
I work in the post office in fair hill.

What’s your favourite boat?
Favourite boat might be the coastal.

What are you excited about for rowing this year? What are your goals?
My two daughters are rowing with the underage and watching them living their best life . It’s just all brilliant.

Favourite rowing memory so far?
Favourite memory so far would be Antrim. The weather was amazing. And conditions great. And no stress for two whole days. Once the race was over.

Favourite thing about rowing?
Favourite thing about rowing is the comradery of it all. The freedom out in the lake. It’s just heaven. And the craic with the other women. My two daughters are rowing with the underage and watching them living their best life . It’s just all brilliant.

Favourite short rowing story?
Rowing in Flesk valley last year. Declan madden was cox. And shouted at us that we were fifty from the line. And the four women In the boat left out a cry . So Declan had to retract and ask for ten . We came second that day. But we laughed for weeks

Greatest achievement?
Greatest achievement is crossing the line anytime
